Pen-Y-Lan can be found situated in the heart of rural North Wales . Said to date back as far as 1690, the house was

remodelled in 1830 and is now a compact, square stuccoed and castellated building.

Sat in a prominent position on high ground, the house has exceptional views of the Dee valley and even the gentle

rumble of the river Dee itself can be heard away to the south. To the north side is a medium sized landscaped park

which is approached by two long drives from the northern boundary.
